  • Far East District hosts MND Exchange Program

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Far East District hosted the 27th Korean Ministry of National Defense Exchange Program Jan. 31-Feb.17. During the 13 day course, select members from MND were able to learn from their counterparts in FED to gain a better understanding of how the District operates.
  • Chief Master Sgt. Riel retires after 33 years in U.S. Air Force

    Chief Master Sgt. Raymond Riel, Lead Construction Representative, has completed his service in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Far East District. He will be retiring from the U.S. Air Force in May.
  • Far East District is ISO recertified

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Far East District was recertified during the ISO 9001 audit Feb. 6-10. The new certificate will be issued in April.
  • Far East District open new humidity controlled warehouse

    The U.S. Army Field Support Battalion, Northeast Asia (AFSBn-NEA), the Korean Service Corps, and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Far East District cut the ribbon on a new humidity controlled warehouse at Camp Carroll Feb. 10.

    More than 200 members of Hawaii's engineering community, including engineers from the Honolulu District, will gather at the Hale Koa's Banyan Tree Showroom Feb. 21 for a luncheon to kick off Engineers Week 2012, which runs Feb. 19 to 25.
