Prime Power Soldiers learn valuable lessons as they assist district engineers

Corps tentatively selects plan for deep-water port in Nome

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers – Alaska District released a draft feasibility report and environmental assessment today that tentatively selects a plan to establish a deep-water port in Nome to support increased vessel traffic and economic development in the Arctic.

Honolulu District engineers participate in 2015 National Engineers Week activities

More than 200 engineers and friends of the 17 organizations within the Hawaii Council of Engineering Societies plus invited local VIPs and dignitaries and engineers from the Honolulu District are expected to gather at the Hale Koa's Banyan Tree Showroom Feb. 24 for a luncheon to kick off Engineers Week 2015, which runs Feb. 22-28.
