    USACE Far East District provides an open dialogue about contracting, construction, engineering and quality

    In partnership with the Public Procurement Service (PPS) and the 411th Contracting Support Brigade (411th CSB), the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers – Far East District (USACE FED) hosted its annual Industry Day and Quality Symposium April 7–8, 2026, in Suwon, South Korea.

Over the course of three days, participants engaged in presentations led by U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Headquarters representatives, district leadership, and subject matter experts. Topics ranged from commissioning and cost engineering to Design-Build contracting and construction safety.     Building Quality from the Ground Up: Japan District's C3 Conference Strengthens Construction Excellence

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers - Japan Engineer District (JED) strengthened its commitment to construction excellence and quality assurance during their Construction Division’s recent “C3 Conference,” a three-day event held at the Camp Zama Community Club that brought together professionals from across the district and beyond. The conference - short for Construction, Contracting, and Counsel - served as a focused forum for collaboration, training, and alignment among JED personnel responsible for delivering high-quality infrastructure in support of U.S. Forces Japan.

    Contractor is renovating the entrance of USAG Humphreys Command Group; the Plans, Analysis and Integration Office (PAIO) and the Internal Review and Audit Compliance Officer (IRACO).

    $1.6 million renovations underway for USAG Humphreys Command Group

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers – Far East District’s (USACE FED) Project 520595, which is the renovations of the first and third floor to accommodate the USAG Humphreys Command Group, the Plans, Analysis and Integration Office (PAIO) and the Internal Review and Audit Compliance Officer (IRACO) is currently under construction on Camp Humphreys, South Korea.

    PPS and USFK Acquisition Partners host Joint Industry Day in South Korea

    In partnership with Public Procurement Service (PPS), United State Forces Korea (USFK) Acquisition Partners including the U.S. Corps of Engineers – Far East District, Nonappropriated Fund (NAF) Contracting – Korea, Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Indo-Pacific and 411th Contracting Support Brigade (CSB) hosted Joint Industry Day April 9, 2025, at the Seoul Regional Public Procurement Service building in Seoul, South Korea. Over 200 potential contractors attended the event.
