2015 LANPAC Symposium
Allen Chin, who is a water resources specialist at the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers-Pacific Ocean Division (USACE-POD), and POD's Command Sgt. Major Federico Boyce spoke with Army Officers from Australia, Bangladesh, Canada, Laos, Papua New Guinea, Thailand and New Zealand about USACE-POD's exhibit at the third annual Land Power in the Pacific Symposium and Exposition in Honolulu, Hawaii, May 19-21. The conference is a professional development forum sponsored by the Association of the United States Army Institute of Land Warfare. USACE-POD Commanding General, Brig. Gen. Jeffrey Mihorn, participated in a panel discussion via VTC from Okinawa where he is deployed as the Deputy Commanding General-Support for JTF505 for the Nepal Earthquake response. Brig. Gen. Milhorn was a member on the panel discussion titled "Multilateral Opportunities in the Indo-Asia-Pacific." The U.S. Army, Pacific; Marine Corps Forces, Pacific; Special Operation Command, Pacific; alongside joint and regional partners discussed and showcased the critical role of Pacific land forces through discussion panels.
