The Commanding General of U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Pacific Ocean Division, Brig. Gen. Jeffrey L. Milhorn, is surrounded by children from a displaced encampment in Nepal. Milhorn served as the Deputy Commanding General-Support for Joint Task Force (JTF) 505 for Operation Sahayogi Haat, which means “Helping Hand” in Nepali. JTF 505 worked in support of U.S. Agency for International Development’s Office of U.S. Foreign Disaster Assistance to provide unique military capabilities in response to the Nepal Earthquake relief efforts.
