Army Corps, Army Garrison-Hawaii Participate in Groundbreaking for Phase 2 of CAB Complex
WHEELER ARMY AIRFIELD, Hawaii- Representatives from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers-Honolulu District, U.S. Army Garrison-Hawaii Directorate of Public Works, the 25th Infantry Division Combat Aviation Brigade, and contractor Nan-Samsung LLC listen as Reverend Sherman Thompson begins the Hawaiian blessing for Phase 2 of the 25th ID CAB complex on the south side of the Wheeler airstrip. The $69.7 million project is the second of 16 additional phases required to complete the entire $1.6 billion CAB complex. This project constructs two, six-story standard design barracks for Soldiers assigned to the Combat Aviation Brigade.
