U.S. ARMY GARRISON-HUMPHREYS, Republic of Korea (March 6, 2013) - The first families are moving into the Army Family Housing Towers at U.S. Army Garrison-Humphreys. The construction of the family housing facilities was managed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers – Far East District. The housing towers are part of a larger transformation construction project that will consolidate U.S. military units into two enduring hubs south of Seoul. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers-Pacific Ocean Division contributes significantly to the peace and security in the Pacific region through the execution of a multi-billion dollar construction program for U.S. Forces in the Republic of Korea. Two big programs being executed in the Republic of Korea are the Yongsan Relocation Program and the Land Partnership Plan.
