Ms. Regina Jugueta-Vetter

Ms. Regina Jugueta-Vetter has served as the Chief of Staff for Pacific Ocean Division, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Fort Shafter, Hawaii since August 2021.

In her role as Chief of Staff, Ms. Jugueta-Vetter is responsible for advising and providing counsel to the Commanding General and senior staff regarding the Division’s internal, regional, inter-agency, and international operations. Ms. Jugueta-Vetter directs Division headquarters administrative operations and staff elements and serves as the Division’s Congressional Liaison. The Division’s footprint spans from the U.S. and its territories to the Arctic and Pacific, and its expansive mission includes engineering design, construction, and real estate management for the Army in Hawaii, Army and Air Force in Alaska, and for all Department of Defense Services and Agencies in Japan, the Republic of Korea, and Kwajalein Atoll, Marshall Islands.

Ms. Jugueta-Vetter earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Boston University and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Management from University of Maryland. She is also a graduate of the Secretary of Defense Executive Leadership Development Course. Prior to her current position, Ms. Jugueta-Vetter served as the National Air Force Program Manager within the Military Programs Directorate, Headquarters, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. Other previous assignments include: Project Engineer at the Wuerzburg Resident Office and Bamberg Project Office, Europe District, Germany; Project Engineer and deputy area engineer at the Stuttgart Resident Office, Europe District, Germany; Europe District Program Manager Forward in the J44 United States European Command, Stuttgart, Germany, supporting construction in West Africa, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Eastern Europe; North Regional Engineer/Planner in the J44 United States Africa Command, Stuttgart, Germany, supporting Mauritania, Tunisia, Libya, Morocco, and Western Sahara; Senior Engineer in the Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff, U.S. Army Europe, Heidelberg, Germany, supporting construction in Israel and Turkey; Chief of Engineer Division J/G4 Joint Forces Headquarters-National Capital Region/Military District of Washington, Ft McNair, Washington D.C.; Foreign Assistance Senior Program Manager for U.S. EUCOM, U.S. AFRICOM, U.S. INDOPACOM, Military Programs Directorate, Headquarters, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Washington, D.C.; Program Manager, Civil Works Program Integration Division; Deputy Chief of Staff (Acting), Headquarters, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers; Deputy Director (Acting) Office of the Chief of Engineers, Department of the Army, Pentagon.

Ms. Jugueta-Vetter’s awards include the Joint Service Commendation Medal, the Army Superior Civilian Service Award, the Army Meritorious Civilian Service Award, the Army Commendation Award, the Army Achievement Medal, and National of Women of Color Technology Award.
