Colonel Christopher D. Lestochi assumes command of U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Alaska District

Colonel Christopher D. Lestochi will assume command of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Alaska District, in a change of command ceremony on July 2. Colonel Reinhard W. Koenig, the outgoing Alaska District Commander who served since 2009, will relinquish command in a ceremony at District headquarters on Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson at 10 a.m. Koenig’s next assignment is executive officer to the Assistant Secretary of the Army for Civil Works in Washington, D.C. Pat Coullahan receives SAME’s Wheeler Medal

Patrick M. Coullahan, P.E., PMP, CFM, F.SAME, Chief of Construction and Operations Division with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Alaska District, received the Wheeler Medal from the Society of American Military Engineers at a national awards ceremony May 23 in St. Louis, MO. The national award is named in honor of Lt. Gen. Raymond A. Wheeler, a former Chief of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, for outstanding contributions to military engineering by a civilian or uniformed member of the Army. [Read More]
