The Camp Humphreys Middle-High School opened its doors to students and teachers for the first time in January 2014. The building is the first one completed under the Yongsan Relocation Plan (YRP) - a bilateral agreement between the Republic of Korea and the United States consolidating and relocating U.S. forces from the Greater Seoul area. U.S. Army Corps of Engineers-Far East District engineers ensured the school met Department of Defense Dependent Schools specifications.
