Talkeetna Open House Corps Regulatory Program set for Sept. 11

ANCHORAGE, Alaska - The public is invited to an informational meeting in Talkeetna Sept. 11 where representatives of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Regulatory Division will be available to discuss their program and answer questions.

The meeting is scheduled from 7-8:30 p.m. at the Talkeetna Elementary School gym, 13930 E. Timberwolf Loop.

Topics will include laws and regulations, work and activities that require a Section 10 and/or 404 permit, types of permits, how to apply for permits, notification procedures, required application information, permit evaluation process, and the value of early coordination and planning.

This 90-minute meeting will be particularly meaningful for landowners, contractors, businesses and others who wish to learn about the Regulatory Division’s responsibilities and services.
