Alaska District Public Affairs

ANCHORAGE, Alaska – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers-Alaska District will complete the relocation of its regulatory field office in Juneau to the Hurff A. Saunders Federal Building May 1.

The move from its previous location at 8800 Glacier Highway will save more than $20,000 in expenses annually while maintaining a high level of customer service, said Dave Casey, supervisor of the Juneau and Kenai field offices.

Established in 1991, the field office will continue to provide wetland delineations, jurisdictional determinations, pre-application coordination, permitting and enforcement services for the northern portion of Southeast Alaska from Skagway and Haines, and south to Baranof and Admiralty Islands.

The office’s new mailing address is:

The street address is 709 W. 9th Street, Room 223A. People also may contact the office by phone at 907-790-4490 or email at CEPOA-RD-JFO@usace.army.mil
