    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers-Alaska District will complete the relocation of its regulatory field office in Juneau to the Hurff A. Saunders Federal Building May 1.

    Volunteers from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers partnered with the Waikiki Improvement Association, the Hale Koa Hotel, and other concerned citizens to clean up Waikiki Beach as part of Earth Day 2013 on April 27.

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers-Alaska District selected a new safety and occupational health manager. David Prado Jr. now serves as the organization’s technical authority for safety engineering, general safety and occupational health with responsibility for advising the commander, staff and contractors on such matters.
  • Far East District hosts the 28th Ministry of National Defense Exchange Program

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Far East District hosted the 28th Korean Ministry of National Defense Exchange Program March 25-April 12. The program started in 1985 to train military and civilian engineers from the defense ministry on design, project management, contracting, and construction processes of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
