ANCHORAGE, Alaska – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers-Alaska District will complete the relocation of its regulatory field office in Juneau to the Hurff A. Saunders Federal Building May 1.

The move from its previous location at 8800 Glacier Highway will save more than $20,000 in expenses annually while maintaining a high level of customer service, said Dave Casey, supervisor of the Juneau and Kenai field offices.

Established in 1991, the field office will continue to provide wetland delineations, jurisdictional determinations, pre-application coordination, permitting and enforcement services for the northern portion of Southeast Alaska from Skagway and Haines, and south to Baranof and Admiralty Islands.
