  • Corps of Engineers presents safety awards to contractors

    U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Alaska District, presented Celebrate Safety awards to construction and environmental contractors in ceremonies held at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson and Fort Wainwright yesterday and today. Celebrate Safety is an Alaska District program that recognizes and promotes excellence in safety through teamwork with the goal of zero accidents.

  • Army Corps Awards Task Order to Construct Vietnam Pavilions at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific at Punchbowl

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Honolulu District recently awarded a task order construction contract to build new pavilions for the Honolulu Memorial at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific at Punchbowl to Innovative-Mira Joint Venture (IM JV LLC) of Aiea, Oahu for $4,144,500.00.

  • U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Pacific Ocean Division announces regional conditions to nationwide permits

    Today, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Pacific Ocean Division announced the release of the regional conditions for Alaska, and Hawaii and the Pacific Area to the 50 nationwide permits (NWPs) issued under Section 404 of the Clean Water Act and Section 10 of the Rivers and Harbors Act of 1899.

  • Corps resolves two Clean Water Act violations in Cook Inlet Basin

    On March 15, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Alaska District, resolved two separate violations of the Clean Water Act by two oil and gas companies conducting 3D seismic surveys in the Cook Inlet Basin.

  • Far East District supports Key Resolve 2012

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Far East District supported the exercise Key Resolve 2012 Feb. 27-March 9. Key Resolve is an annual joint-combined Command Post Exercise which demonstrates the U.S. commitment to the Republic of Korea-U.S. Alliance and enhances the combat readiness of ROK and U.S. supporting forces.
