Indonesia Urban Search and Rescue Workshop 2013
Dustin Tellinghuisen, from U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Buffalo District, answers a question during the 2013 Indonesia Urban Search & Rescue Workshop. The U.S. Pacific Command sponsored the three-day workshop, which was conducted in partnership with the Government of Indonesia. The U.S. instruction team, which was comprised of subject matter experts from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, University of Wyoming, and Texas A&M University, helped to raise awareness about structural engineering in urban search and rescue missions by demonstrating techniques and sharing best practices used in the U.S. and around the world.
